Do you service both homes and businesses?

Yes. We specialize in residential and commercial heating and cooling: troubleshooting, repair, and replacement for both.

What areas do you cover?

Our shop is in Terrell, and we serve Kaufman County, Dallas County, and Rockwall County, plus surrounding areas. If you are nearby and unsure, email us and ask.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed on weekends. Email works any time, and we will respond as soon as the shop opens.

How do I get a quote?

Email lorencowley@yahoo.com with your address, a description of what is going on, and photos of the unit if you can. We will take a look and give you an honest answer.

What if my system needs replacing instead of a repair?

Then we will tell you so, straight. Selling you a new system you do not need would break the rule this shop runs on. When replacement truly is the right call, we will explain why and size the new system properly.

Do you take on small jobs, or only big installs?

Small jobs are the backbone of this business. A tune-up, a stubborn thermostat, a unit that just needs a real diagnosis: that is most of what we do, and we treat it like it matters.

Our story

A workshop with a conscience.

L & L HVAC Services is owner Loren Cowley’s family shop, built the slow and honest way. No business loans, no shortcuts: every truck, tool, and part of the shop is paid for and owned.

When Loren moved the business to Terrell, he bought a small house with a 2,000 square foot shop and turned part of it into a finished office. It is half the house he came from, and it is exactly what the business needed.

The shop motto is simple: “YES WE CAN.” And the rule behind it is simpler still: make sure it is right, or make it right even if it comes out of our pocket. Honesty and good customer service are what set L & L apart, and the customers we have grown to call friends are the reason we keep the bar where it is.
